Media: The California School Finance Center provides members of the media with accurate information on how much money school districts receive and helps them make comparisons among look-a-like districts, or Peer Comparisons. With this information, reporters can communicate a more accurate story about the state of school funding. They can also identify where taxpayers are getting the most and least "output" (in terms of student academic achievement) for the money spent on public schools.
